Man rescued after saving dog in Fuzhou floods_我的网站

At 4:08 p.m., the city's fire rescue bureau received a report that the man had entered the Aojiang River in Lianjiang County to retrieve his dog, swept in by sudden downpours. The current quickly pinned him in knee deep water. Rescue crews arrived with water rescue gear, throwing a lifeline and guiding him to secure the rope and hold position. After 20 minutes, he was safely pulled ashore. A preliminary check found him in good condition. Authorities said the incident highlighted the dangers of sudden flash floods and urged residents to avoid entering rivers during heavy rain. (By Gong Weiwei)
